launches software to manage real-time closings "The recent consolidation that has occurred in the transaction management arena has left the remaining players much stronger and caused a convergence in features between competitors. This convergence of functionality is being driven by the rapidly increasing number of companies who have come to rely on transaction management as an indispensable tool for their business. Now consumers can more easily compare features, benefits and, of course, price," said SettlementRoom President Jonathan Cutler. SettlementRoom provides software for the title, escrow, mortgage, construction and brokerage businesses. IndyMac launches real-time risk-based pricing information IndyMac Bancorp (NYSE: NDE) recently introduced QuickPricer, a Web-based technology that allows customers to input loan information and receive an online risk-based pricing indication, according to the company. The software enables users to track and update previous submissions and import data from customers' loan origination systems. ClickLoan will be available with QuickPricer by the end of the first quarter and available in IndyMac's electronic mortgage information and transaction system by the end of the second quarter. Alliance allows
apartment renters to pay rent electronically The Resite IT rent payment system allows apartment communities to direct residents to a Web site where renters can pay their rent using an electronic check, a credit card or a combination of the two payment methods.
